Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva sees Real Madrid as a better team than last year before Manchester City hosts Real Madrid on the European stage on Wednesday.

Manchester City’s Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva has revealed that Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid are a better team than last year after the arrival of Jude Bellingham and the more consistent playing of Rodrygo Goes, according to a report from ‘ยูฟ่าเบท‘ on Tuesday.

Manchester City is about to open the Etihad Stadium arena to take on Real Madrid on the Champions League Round of 8 stage, second match this Wednesday after a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first game 3-3 which Bernardo considers Ancelotti’s team to be stronger than last year when they lost to the City team 0-4.

‘It’s a very dangerous team because they play very different to us. You feel like you are in control of the game. And you never could. And they scored two goals in one period. It was a very strange feeling. And that’s why they won so many titles in that competition.’

‘Personally, They are the best team in the world. So we have a lot of respect. We play locally and we are very confident. But with the utmost respect.’

The big change for Real Madrid was the arrival of Bellingham, while the departure of Karim Benzema opened the door for Rodrygo to play more regularly. That has contributed to the Italian trainer’s team improving from last year.

‘It’s a different team. Because they changed the way they played. Previously they mostly played a 4-3-3 system, now I feel like they play a bit more like a 4-4-2 with Jude playing as the false boss. and moved in very well’

‘Rodrigo is playing more regularly. Two different teams But there’s no doubt they’ll be here with pain from what happened last year. We hope to correct the mistakes in the game at the Bernabeu where we didn’t play at our best. Fix it and try to make it better’

As for City boss Pep Guardiola, he is unsure if they are facing a better Real Madrid than last year.

‘I wouldn’t say I disagree with him. [Bernardo] but I’m not sure I agree with him completely, but last year they had a great team with different players.’

‘Benzema, Modric, this is a great team. I know that when I say good things about Madrid people won’t believe me. But I respect the club, the history. and players all along Both when I was a football player or now as a coach. People look at my opinions. And I can’t control that.’
